Pet nutrition and hydration guides — feeding schedules, portion guidance, water intake, transitioning foods and the equipment that supports both.
Hydration is the half most owners overlook. Cats in particular evolved to take most of their water from prey and drink poorly from still bowls, which is why moving water from a fountain increases intake measurably. Dogs drink more readily but still need a clean bowl refilled daily rather than topped up, since a film builds fast in warm rooms.
Change food gradually. Switching diets overnight commonly causes digestive upset, and owners then blame the new food rather than the speed of the change. Mix increasing proportions of the new food into the old across seven to ten days.
Specific dietary questions — weight, allergies, prescription diets, or a pet that has stopped eating — belong with your vet rather than a product page.
